That's the whole job: be useful, and point you to the one that fits.
What I look at
The happy ones and the unhappy ones. Complaints get counted, so you know what tends to go wrong.
Across retailers and independent testers, so one site's score doesn't decide it.
Specs, settings, materials and what's in the box, checked against the brand's own listing.
List price with the date it was checked, and what you get for the money.

Do brands pay to be featured?
No. Brands can't buy a spot. Some links earn a commission if you buy, and that never changes which products make the top three.
How often are pages updated?
Every few months, or sooner when prices or models change. The date and what changed are at the top of each page.
